Transfer / Withdrawal Policy

1.00 Transfer Policy

1.10 Transfer Out To Another School / Institute

  1. Students request transfer to another commercial school/ Institute should write to Omega Commercial School .
  2. All Students must complete the Course Withdrawal Form and cancellation of students Pass Form (applicable for international students) Upon approval for transfer of course .
  3. In the case of international students, the Student Pass is non-transferable and will expire upon transfer. The student is required to surrender his/her Student Pass to the school.
  4. The student shall be charged for all modules consumed and all discounts/rebates that the student was entitled to shall be forfeited.

1.20 Transfer From An existing Course To New Course Within Omega Commercial School

  1. Students can apply in writing for transfer from an existing course to a new course within the Omega Commercial School . Such Transfer are subjected to the school’s approval.
  2. If a students transfer form an existing course to a new course within the Omega Commercial School, the tuition fees is 100% transferable to the new course.
  3. In the event that the fee for the transferred course is higher , the student is required to pay the difference upon the transfer being approved.
  4. If the differential is in a favour of the student , school will refund the student within fourteen (14) days of effecting the transfer.
  5. In the case of non-tuition fees , refund will apply as follow:

100% Transferred to new center / course Registration Fee
100% Transferred to new center / course Course Material Fee
100% Transferred to new center / course Sponsorship Fee
Payable If a Fresh submission to ICA required Student Pass

1.3 Transfer From One Center to Another Center Within Omega Commercial School

  1. Students can apply by writing for transfer from one center to another center within the Omega Commercial School. Such Transfer are subjected to the school’s approval.
  2. If a students transfer from one center to another center within the Omega Commercial School, the tuition fees is 100% transferable to the new course.
  3. In the event that the fee for the transferred course is highe , the student is required to pay the difference upon the transfer being approved.
  4. If the differential is in a favour of the student, school will refund the student within fourteen (14) days of effecting the transfer.
  5. In the case of non-tuition fees, refund will apply as follow:

2.00 Course Withdrawal And Refund Of Fees

2.10 Withdrawal for cause

Subject to force majeure , the student shall be entitled to immediately withdraw form the Course by giving written notice to Omega Commercial School of his / her intention to do so under the following circumstances :

  • Omega Commercial School fails , for any reason , to commence the course on the commencement date.
  • Omega Commercial School fails , for any reason , to complete the course by the Completion date .
  • Omega Commercial School terminates the course for any reason prior to the completion of the course .
  • Breach of its obligation under the student contract.

Time Frame For Refund : Within 14 Days

Amount :

a. Entire Amount of the course Fees and deposit

b. Non tuition fees and / or Additional Fees (less any bank charges , mentioned as per standard student contract.

2.20 Refunds For Withdrawal for cause

Omega Commercial School shall , as soon as practicable after receiving the Student notice of withdrawal refund to the student within fourteen (14) Days :

  • The entire amount of the tuition fees and deposit
  • The Non-tuition Fees / or Additional Fees
  • Students Pass Processing Fee
  • Sponsorship Fees
  • Bankers Guarantee Application Fee

2.3 Withdrawal Without Cause and refunds :

  1. 1. Request for course withdrawal should write to Omega Commercial School , Any request for withdrawal through Verbal notice shall not be entertained.
  2. Where the student withdraws from the course for any reason other than those set out in clause 2.1 , Omega Commercial School shall, within fourteen (14) days after receiving the student's written notice of withdrawal , refund to the students the paid course fee according to the following table :

If Students Written Notice Of Withdrawal is received
100% More than thirty (30) days before the commencement date.
75% Before but not more than thirty (30) days before the commencement date.
25% Not more than five (5) days after the commencement date
0%
*This also applies to students who defer and subsequently withdraw from the programme
More than five (5) days but not more than ten (10) days after the commencement date.
